Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotsk was a Polish Hassidic Rabbi of a different stripe.
While most Hassidic Rabbis personified kindness and love, he personified truth. The word “Emet” (Truth) was embroidered on his Tallit and he lived his life “truth telling”. He wrote many books; he also wrote many manuscripts but burned them before his death. Only his collection of sayings, collected by students, lives on. It has been a spiritual treasure house. In this session we will study the best of Rabbi Mendel’s best - his top twenty sayings that will open your eyes and your heart.
