Living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

The goal of this session is to raise awareness that we all have mental health issues and can do things to take care of them, but more importantly we need to tear down the stigma around mental illness. IF we get rid of stigma, we make it possible for youth to feel comfortable to get help.

Arie Lavy was captured and became of Prisoner of War for two months in 1973. He is a speaker in a program called MILE5, a Mental Illness Literacy Education program in which he shares his experiences living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with students and the community.
